Mile Marker

A timeline that reads its own dates. Type 2019, March 2021, Q3 2024 or 2021 - Present and it sorts the entries and writes each one as a real date. After the page loads, a Today marker stands between what has happened and what is planned, from the visitor’s own date, so a planned entry turns done on its own. An ordered list with real headings, every entry in the page’s HTML, a layout of its own below a width you set, and a line that draws as it is read.

  1. Two founders, one spare room

The first line of code, written after a spreadsheet of client projects finally outgrew itself.

  2. Private beta

Forty teams used it every day, and told us, kindly and at length, everything that was wrong.

  3. Launch

    Version 1.0

A public launch, a free plan, and a first paying customer before lunch.

  4. A second office

Lisbon joined the original studio, so support now covers every working hour in Europe and the Americas.

  5. Ten thousand teams

Most of them found us through someone who already used it.

  6. - Present

    Carbon neutral operations

Every server and every office on renewable power, reported every quarter.

  7. Next

    Open API

Everything the app can do, available to your own tools.

  8. Offline mode

Work on a train, in a field or on a plane, and sync when you land.

Eight milestones from 2019 to 2028, alternating, in cards. Today stands between what has happened and what is planned, worked out from your own date: planned entries are hollow and dashed, the one still running glows, and the line draws itself as you scroll down.

The same entries on dark, newest first, with the line on the left, the dates beside it and no cards. Newest first, the Today marker stands above the first entry that has begun.
